The College recognises that its FRANZCOG, DRANZCOG and Subspecialists trainees and SIMGs represent the future of the O&G profession. Our highest priority has always been supporting O&G training and assessment. We’re committed to improving training and education offerings, support and the trainee experience overall.

We are pleased to inform that RANZCOG has abolished upfront examination fees. The College will no longer require a fee to be paid before exam placement is offered and accepted.”

Payment of the full examination fee will now be required 7 days from the date of College’s notice of acceptance of the candidate’s examination application.

Please note:

  • Candidates who currently hold a voucher code will be refunded their examination fee.
  • Candidates who have paid for the August FRANZCOG Oral Examination and have not been allocated a spot will also be refunded their examination fee.
  • Candidates wanting to register for any future examination, the new payment process will apply.

Thank you to everyone who has provided feedback to the College on this issue, and we will continually review and re-evaluate our approach to education and training. The College welcomes the continued involvement of all its trainees – at every level – in contributing to its vision of excellence in women’s health.

If you have any questions about your training, please get in touch with your New Zealand or State and Territory Office as your first port of call.
