Training Approval and Fees

Prospective Approval of Training 

Each year, all trainees are required to: 

  • submit an application for Prospective Approval of Training/Extended Leave/Research Leave for each semester of training.
  • pay an annual training fee.

All trainees must submit their Application for Prospective Approval of Training form via My.RANZCOG. A revised application for prospective approval should be submitted if there are any changes to the planned training rotation. Applications for prospective approval should be made at least eight weeks before the start of the relevant training/leave period.

Annual Training Fee

You can view the current annual training fees under Annual Training Fees on the Fees page. Trainees taking extended leave for the full training year, or training for less than 23 weeks in a training year, may be eligible for a discount or a partial refund of training fees.
