FRANZCOG trainees: Level 4 and 5 trainees
As you may be aware, leniency was offered during the COVID-19 pandemic, largely due to the limited opportunity for trainees to complete APSS and sit oral exams. As the impact of COVID-19 subsides, the progression from Basic to Advanced Training with outstanding Basic Training requirements has been reviewed by the Federal Training Accreditation Committee (TAC). Please note that dates have been added for Emotional Intelligence and Compassion Workshop on Thursday 5 October and Monday 4 December 2023. This online workshop will help you to understand stress responses, self-care in real-time, relationships to the physical body and brain, and the origin of emotions. Read more and register.

CWH/DRANZCOG/DRANZCOG Advanced trainees

Training mentors and supervisors (CWH/DRANZCOG/DRANZCOG Advanced)
Please note that trainees will now apply for the Certificate and Diploma training program(s) via an online form that will require your RANZCOG ID and surname. Our Training Supervisor Workshops explore the integral role of training supervisors and delve into the issues you may encounter while balancing workplace demands, College requirements and trainee learning needs. FRANZCOG trainees: Mini-CEX for Year 1 trainees
The Mini-CEX is commencing in semester 2, 2023 for Year 1 trainees only. This assessment is a short observation of an aspect of clinical practice observed by a consultant or advanced trainee. Observations can take place in various settings and the whole process should take under 20 minutes. Read more.
