Examination applications

Online application

All examination applications must be submitted via the online application forms below. These forms will only become available when applications are open. 

Payment of the examination fee is required at the time of submission of the online application. Please refer to the updated RANZCOG Regulations regarding withdrawals, as penalties may apply. 

Once an examination application is submitted, if you wish to withdraw please notify the Assessment Unit at [email protected]

Once you have completed your application and paid the examination fee, you will receive a copy of the receipt via email. This will confirm that your application for the examination has been submitted.  

Confirmation of your eligibility to sit the examination will be advised by email after the registration period.

Further Information

DRANZCOG Advanced trainees who wish to sit the DRANZCOG Written Examination and the DRANZCOG Advanced Oral Examination in the same semester must apply for both examinations by the stipulated closing date.

Please note: for candidates who are unsuccessful at a FRANZCOG Oral Examination or the DRANZCOG Advanced Oral Examination, and where publication of results occurs after the closing date for applications for the next such examination, applications to sit the next oral examination will be allowed for a period of up to 14 days from the date of publication of results.
