Certificate of Women’s Health (CWH)
The CWH is centred primarily on office-based obstetrics and gynaecology and generally involves 3 months of either practice- or hospital-based training. For more information, see the CWH information pamphlet (PDF).
Diploma (DRANZCOG)
The DRANZCOG training program builds on the skills developed through the CWH training program. It is intended for general practitioners/residents who wish to gain skills in obstetrics and gynaecology that will enable them to safely undertake non-complex deliveries and basic gynaecological procedures. Advanced Diploma (DRANZCOG Advanced)
The DRANZCOG Advanced is designed for medical practitioners who have gained skills in obstetrics and gynaecology through the basic DRANZCOG and who wish to further develop them to a level that would enable them to safely undertake complex deliveries, advanced gynaecological procedures and perform basic early and late pregnancy ultrasound scanning. GP Procedural Training Support Program
The GP Procedural Training Support Program (GPPTSP) is a workforce support program designed to improve access to obstetric and anaesthetic services for patients living in rural and remote communities by supporting rural GPs to attain procedural skills in obstetrics.

Training Support Unit has been set up for trainees experiencing professional or personal difficulty during their training. Trainees are encouraged to contact the TSU in times of stress, anxiety or poor health.
