Examinations platform

All written examinations are administered on RISR/Assess (Formerly called Practique) — an easy-to-use platform that meets the needs of our candidates, examiners and staff.

About our platform

Examinations are a key component of all our training programs, so it’s important that we employ an interface that is simple and intuitive to use. Risr/Assess is designed for a desktop computer, but also works on a tablet or phone.

The platform has many helpful features for candidates, including:

Overview panel and easy navigation — includes ‘Previous’ and ‘Next’ buttons

Question flagging— to mark questions for later follow-up

Timer — includes alerts at 30 minutes, 15 minutes and 5 minutes.

Highlighter — to emphasise important information

Grid view — to compare multiple images side by side

Built-in notepad and calculator — no need for paper to scribble down notes and sums

Cut, copy and paste keyboard shortcuts — using Ctrl+X, Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V

Elimination feature (for MCQs only) — to narrow down choices efficiently

All candidates will receive a full briefing ahead of each exam, including a detailed demonstration of the key features of Risr/Assess, and how to use them. Please note that candidates will not be able to create tables within the answer space.
