Applications are now open for the 2017 RANZCOG Shan S. Ratnam Young Gynaecologist Award (YGA). One award will be made to an Australian and one award will be made to a New Zealand member of RANZCOG.

The award is open to members up to the age of 40, to attend the 25th Asian and Oceanic Congress of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, to be held 15 June to 18 June 2017 at the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre, Hong Kong.

The Award also includes the AOCOG Fellowship Program 2017. This program is a  6-9 day fellowship immediately preceding the AOCOG, including a 2-4 day clinical attachment followed by group activities based on interests of the awardee.  Attachments and activities are located in Hong Kong based hospitals. The theme of the program is ‘Merging traditional and modern medicine, from the past, present and to the future’.

The closing date for applications is 25 November 2016.
