RANZCOG strengthens ties with Indonesia

Today in Bali, our College together with the Indonesian Society of Obstetrics and Gynecology (POGI), and the Indonesian College of Obstetrics and Gynecology (inaCOG) have committed to a partnership that will encourage a sharing of expertise, research support and education opportunities. This commitment signals co-operation and good will in the region and is a win for women’s health more broadly in Asia-Pacific.

RANZCOG looks forward to working more closely with POGI and inaCOG and is excited at the prospect of further enriching the specialty in Australia, New Zealand and Indonesia.

RANZCOG urges all practitioners to heed the advice issued by RANZCOG and ATAGI which recommends that pregnant women are routinely offered Pfizer or Moderna mRNA vaccine at any stage of pregnancy.
