RANZCOG endorses AHHA consensus statement

28 September 2017

The Australian Healthcare and Hospitals Association (AHHA) has facilitated the development of a consensus statement on reducing unintended pregnancy for Australian women through increased access to long-acting reversible contraceptive (LARC) methods. AHHA is the national peak body for public and not-for-profit hospitals, community and primary healthcare services, and advocates for universal, high quality and affordable healthcare to benefit the whole community. The Consensus Statement is a tool that organisations can use to support their individual advocacy activities. Following review of this document by the RANZCOG Sexual and Reproductive Health Special Interest Group, the Consensus Statement has been endorsed by the RANZCOG Board.
