Assisted Reproductive Treatment Amendment Act 2016 (VIC)

The Assisted Reproductive Treatment Amendment Act 2016, which commenced on 1 March 2017, gives all donor-conceived Victorians the same right to access available identifying information about their donors, regardless of when their donors made their donation.
 
The Victorian Assisted Reproductive Treatment Authority will hold and manage the donor conception registers (the Central Register and the Voluntary Register), and provide a ‘one-door-in’ service for information, support and counselling to donors, donor-conceived people and their families.
