Laparoscopic Anatomy of Complications Workshop

The Laparoscopic Anatomy of Complications Workshop (ACW) is a two-day course open to laparoscopic surgeons who undertake procedures requiring a reasonably advanced level of laparoscopic skill, including laparoscopic suturing and knot-tying. Participants must operate at RANZCOG/AGES Level 4 or above and must have attended the standard (open) ACW previously.

Although this course suggests tips and tricks around laparoscopic suturing and knot-tying, it is not a basic skills workshop, and this knowledge will be assumed. Rather, the goal is to refresh your anatomical knowledge and to teach techniques for the safe identification of the structures of the pelvic sidewall, including the ureter, and techniques for the safe repair of the bladder and bowel.

The three modules are:

Anatomy and Laparoscopic Surgical Skills

Live Animal Surgery
