Volunteer with the College

Members and trainees who volunteer at RANZCOG gain valuable opportunities to shape the future of education and training in obstetrics and gynaecology, as well as contribute to the development of clinical guidelines, standards, advocacy work, and policies that improve care for women and families. This involvement allows members to have a meaningful impact at a system level, influencing both current practice and the future direction of the profession while supporting the next generation of clinicians.

In addition to their clinical expertise, members and trainees develop a broad range of skills including leadership, governance, strategic thinking, communication, and stakeholder engagement. These experiences enhance professional credibility, open pathways to further career opportunities, and provide the chance to build strong networks with peers and leaders across Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand.
