RANZCOG welcomes an Aotearoa New Zealand budget focussed on health and, in particular, health of Māori.”

We support investment in moving towards a more equitable, accessible, cohesive and people-centred system to improve the health and wellbeing of all New Zealanders. We’re pleased to see commitment in the budget to IT systems to streamline, improve access and provide better information for clinical decisions. We are also pleased to see investment in workforce development. We look forward to the release of the Interim Health Plan and the longer term development of a Women’s Health Strategy.
