About our programs

The Quality Assurance Programs team are responsible for a number of short-term projects and long-term programs with the aim of supporting the delivery of excellence in women’s health, often collaborating with external partners. Through these efforts, the team strives to uphold and advance women’s health care standards.

If you already have access to the RANZCOG eLearning platform, Acquire, you can easily access our programs directly.

Cervical Quality Improvement Program (C-QuIP)

This program aims to improve the care of women who are referred for colposcopy and treatment of screen-detected cervical abnormalities. This involves developing certification programs, providing an online education program, an audit for clinicians performing colposcopy, and supporting practitioners to improve their performance.

Nuchal Translucency Ultrasound, Education and Monitoring Program (NTUEMP)

Fetal Surveillance Education Program (FSEP)

Inadequate or inappropriate use of cardiotocography (CTG) is too often a feature of adverse obstetric outcomes in Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand. The RANZCOG FSEP education and training resources were developed to improve clinicians understanding of the physiology and pathophysiology underpinning fetal heart rate control. It is intended that this knowledge will facilitate appropriate management, thereby reducing the risks of adverse perinatal outcomes.
