To note an update to the curriculum and APSS requirements. If the second twin is breech, this also meets the requirements of the Vaginal Twin Birth APSS. The change, as outlined below, has been incorporated into both the APSS form and the Curriculum.

FRANZCOG Trainees
Curriculum implementation for all basic trainees
A reminder for all basic trainees that The Fellowship of RANZCOG Curriculum 4th Edition is implemented for ALL FRANZCOG basic trainees from Semester 1, 2025. To view the curriculum please refer to FRANZCOG training.
Updated advanced training curricula
RANZCOG has undertaken a comprehensive review of all Advanced Training curricula, encompassing the Advanced Training Pathways (ATP), Advanced Training Modules (ATM), Special Interest Modules (SIM), and Subspecialty pathways. Additionally, a new ATP (Rural Obstetrics and Gynaecology Specialist) and SIM (Evidence Based Medicine) has been developed.
All updated curriculum documents were published in November 2024, to be implemented for trainees starting Advanced Training from 2025 onwards. To view the curricula please refer to FRANZCOG training.
Training Fees
You should have received your fee invoice for 2025 via email. RANZCOG understands that this may be a financially demanding time for many, particularly given the current economic climate challenges.
- If you are a FRANZCOG or subspecialty trainee and wish to pay your fees in four instalments throughout the year, please complete and submit the Payment Plan Application Form by 31 January 2025.
- Find out more about the new Trainee in Financial Difficulty Bursary.
- Trainees who take Extended Leave or Research Leave may be eligible for a partial reduction or refund of their Annual Training Fee.
- RANZCOG is pleased to share its 2023/2024 Training and Exam Fees Analysis with you. This report provides transparency around the costs associated with delivering training and exams throughout FY 2023/2024.

Fostering Respect
RANZCOG has reached the halfway point of its Fostering Respect Action Plan, a four-year project to build more respectful O&G workplaces and training environments.
