Application process

1. Apply

We advertise all roles via SEEK, LinkedIn and our careers page.

Please make sure that your application includes your resume and a cover letter which addresses the key selection criteria (this can be found on the position description).

2. Pre-employment screening

If your application closely meets our criteria we will call to ask you a few questions, including your motivation for the role and career aspirations (this usually happens within 1-2 weeks of applying).

If you are not selected to progress, it could mean that your application doesn’t quite fit the criteria as well as some other applicants – not that you don’t have great skills on offer! You will receive a response from us to let you know the outcome.

3. Interview

If your application is shortlisted, you will be invited to meet for a face-to-face or video interview. The interview panel will consist of the hiring manager, another member of the team or Director and a member of the People and Wellbeing team.

We encourage you to utilise the STAR method when preparing for your interview.

4. Reference check

If you are the preferred candidate, we will let you know and request to conduct two referee checks.

5. Offer

Feedback is provided and a verbal offer is made. All offer details will be sent via email and you will commence our onboarding process.

Extra support

We’re committed to helping our applicants pursue roles on a level playing field.

To ensure everyone can perform their best, we provide reasonable adjustments in our recruitment processes and in the workplace.

Some of the adjustments we can provide include (but are not limited to):

Provision of information in a format that suits you (i.e. written/visual or verbal)

Having a support person attend the interview

Interview questions can be provided in advance

Interview tips

Get to know us! Do some research and be prepared for some questions about the business.

If your interview is via Zoom, we recommend a headset so that you can hear us clearly – do a test run to make sure sound and camera is working ok.

Have a clear idea on why you want the role and reflect on your past accomplishments.

Be familiar with the key selection criteria and have some examples prepared for when you have demonstrated these. If you do have some gaps, that’s ok! We would love to hear how you would work on developing your skills.

Prepare some questions for us! It’s a two-way street and we want you to have all the right information to decide if you want to work with us.
