GLOWM has now launched the SaferMotherhood app, an interactive mobile-based programme.  Freely downloadable on smart phone or tablet – the app provides expert guidance on managing obstetric emergencies and expert guidance on all aspects of pregnancy and childbirth. Constant connection to the internet is not needed to use the app. 

Key features include:

  • A unique option allows midwives and nurses to store patient records securely and to share them with their clinics
  • Custom adaption locally by individual Societies to feature local protocols and other relevant materials
