The Subspecialty Training Programs lead to Certification as a Subspecialist in one of the following:
  • Gynaecological Oncology (CGO)
  • Maternal Fetal Medicine (CMFM)
  • Obstetrical and Gynaecological Ultrasound (COGU)
  • Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (CREI)
  • Urogynaecology (CU)

Eligibility to enter the individual subspecialty training program is via Subspecialty Selection only. 

Applicants who are assessed as Eligible to Enter the Subspecialties Training program are responsible for obtaining their own position in an accredited training unit.

The five Subspecialty Committees advertise annually in the RANZCOG Collegiate and O&G Magazine from August to February for Subspecialties Selection

All applicants are assessed against a selection criteria, including:  

  • Educational History

  • Employment History

  • Professional Development and Commitment to the Subspecialty

  • Teaching and Leadership Experience

  • Research, Publications and Presentations

  • References

  • Subspecialty-Specific  Elements
