CLIMATE eLearning hosts a range of resources designed to promote student-centered learning to support the curriculum.


Access

To log in to CLIMATE, use your RANZCOG ID number and web access password. If you have forgotten your password, you can use the Lost Password facility.
 

Compulsory Courses


Ultrasound Modules (A7 Clinical Imaging)

The A7 Clinical Imaging Ultrasound module is compulsory for all trainees commencing in the program from December 2016. This module covers 1st Trimester, Biometry and 3rd Trimester Ultrasound and includes Power Point presentations and MCQs. The link to this activity is available in the “Quick Links” section of the CLIMATE homepage or click here.

Once you have completed this course, download your certificate of completion and submit this via your Progress Summary (or Additional Requirements) page of MyRANZCOG. This requirement is due to be submitted by the end of Year 1 (52 weeks of Core time in training).
 

Cultural Competence

Trainees commencing from 1 December 2018 must complete cultural competency education in Basic training.

Australia - To fulfil this requirement Australian trainees must complete the relevant CLIMATE modules; Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Women’s Health, and Cultural Competency and Intercultural Competency.

New Zealand - The NZ Training and Accreditation Committee (NZ TAC) has worked with the Māori/Indigenous Health Institute (MIHI) at the University of Otago to develop a comprehensive post-graduate course. To fulfil this requirement NZ trainees must complete Application of the Hui Process/Meihana Model to Clinical Practice.
 

Clinical Educator Training Program

The Clinical Educator Training Program is compulsory for all trainees who commenced in the FRANZCOG Training Program from December 2013. The module compromises of 8 interactive online units covering the principles and practice of clinical supervision. Once you have completed this course, download your certificate of completion and submit this via your Progress Summary (or Additional Requirements) page of MyRANZCOG. This requirement is due to be submitted before the end of 3 years (156 weeks) of Advanced time in training.
