The Excellence in Report Writing and Expert Witness Training workshop is facilitated by Claro Law.

This one-day workshop focuses on how to write reports of facts in response to patient complaints, whether they arrive directly or via the Health and Disability Commissioner.

A well-written factual report can stop many complaints going further, which is kind to patients and colleagues alike. The workshops are also useful for Fellows who write reports giving opinions to the Health and Disability Commissioner, the Medical Council of New Zealand, other district Health Boards or ACC.  

Following attendance at an Excellence in Report Writing and Expert Witness Training workshop, Fellows can apply to participate in the RANZCOG Expert Witness Register.
