Reinstatement to the Register of Certificants, Diplomates or Advanced Diplomates Policy
The Reinstatement to the Register of Certificate Holders, Diplomates or Advanced Diplomates Policy applies to previously-registered RANZCOG Certificants or Diplomates who are currently practicing and would like to be reinstated to the Register.
A RANZCOG Certificant or Diplomate may have been removed from the register for a variety of reasons such as:
resigned or removed from the Register due to unfinancial status;
resigned or removed from the Register due to non-completion of women’s reproductive health requirements;
no longer practicing intrapartum care/shared care; or
travelling/working overseas for a period of time.
Note: Applicants must hold current medical registration with either the Medical Board of Australia or the Medical Council of New Zealand. Applicants who hold non-practicing medical registration are not eligible for reinstatement to the Register.
The reinstatement application fee is required to be paid before the TAR Subcommittee will consider your application.
