The Reinstatement to the Register of Certificate Holders, Diplomates or Advanced Diplomates Policy applies to previously registered RANZCOG Certificants or Diplomates who are currently practicing and would like to be reinstated to the Register.
A RANZCOG Certificant or Diplomate may have been removed from the register for a variety of reasons such as:
resigned or removed from the Register due to unfinancial status;
resigned or removed from the Register due to non-completion of women’s reproductive health requirements;
no longer practicing intrapartum care/shared care; or
travelling/working overseas for a period of time.
Note: Applicants must hold current medical registration with either the Medical Board of Australia or the Medical Council of New Zealand. Applicants who hold non-practicing medical registration are not eligible for reinstatement to the Register.
The reinstatement application fee is required to be paid before the TAR Subcommittee will consider your application.
