RANZCOG NSW State Committee Travelling Scholarship

About

The RANZCOG NSW State Committee Travelling Scholarships were established in 2017 to support NSW FRANZCOG trainees to train in a developing county in the Asia-Pacific region.

The scholarship funds are provided by the NSW State Committee (previously NSW Regional Committee) of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RANZCOG), and are administered through the RANZCOG Women’s Health Foundation.

The scholarships are intended to:

Provide excellent opportunities for trainees to improve skills in open surgery;

Promote a unique perspective on clinical care issues beyond the scope of usual training;

Allow the development of clinical skills in a different manner to that available for the majority of locally based training;

Contribute to RANZCOG’s commitment to engaging with the Asia-Pacific region on issues of reproductive health.
