Honours & Awards

The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RANZCOG) bestows honours and awards on individuals who have contributed to the work of the College and/or women’s health more broadly. All nominations are considered by the College Honours Committee and awarded by the RANZCOG Board.

Nominations for honours and awards are currently on hold until further notice due to review of the Honours and Awards Criteria.

Professor John Newnham

It is with great pleasure and pride that RANZCOG acknowledges Professor John Newnham, as the first fellow to be awarded the highest honour of Senior Australian of the Year.
