Casual vacancy elections have now concluded for the Trainees Committee in Western Australia and Tasmania. The RANZCOG Board will confirm the elected candidates shortly.


 

Call for Nomination – Regional Fellows Casual Vacancy Election RANZCOG Council

September 2020 – November 2021

Notice is hereby given to all financial Regional Fellows of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RANZCOG) resident in Australia of the conduct of the casual vacancy election to the RANZCOG Counciil for the remainder of the term of the Eleventh Council from September 2020 to November 2021. The election will fill the vacancy of a Regional Fellow Representative.
 
Elections shall be conducted by the Company Secretary in accordance with the RANZCOG Regulations.

Regional Fellow Representative nomination details


Regional Fellows wishing to stand for nomination must complete the online Nomination Form (sent via email) by close of nominations Thursday 27 August 2020 at 12:00pm AEST.
 
The Call for Nominations email was sent on Thursday 6 August to the email for each registered Regional Fellow.  If you have not received this email, please check your spam or junk email folder on the email account that you have registered with My.RANZCOG.

Acceptance of Nominations
In order for a nomination to be accepted and to be deemed valid, the following must be adhered to:
 

  • The Nomination Form must be received by the Election Office, by the stipulated closing time.
  • All nominees must be registered Regional Fellows at the time of a nomination being submitted, i.e. have formally made an application to the College for Board approval to be recognised as a Regional Fellow, in order to be eligible to stand for election.
  • All nominees must be a financial Fellow of the College at the time of a nomination being submitted. For the purposes of this election, to be deemed a financial Fellow, the individual will have no outstanding monies owing to the College.

 
Nominations received by the Election Office will be acknowledged within two business days.
