Constitution
The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RANZCOG) is a company limited by guarantee. The
RANZCOG Constitution (PDF) outlines the principles according to which RANZCOG is governed and its compliance under the Corporations Act. Information relating to our objectives, membership of the College, procedures for Annual General Meetings (AGMs), election processes, accounts and audit processes, and the indemnity of officers is provided within this document.
The Constitution was adopted on 24 November 2006, replacing the former Memorandum & Articles of Association. Alterations to the Constitution have subsequently been approved in July 2007, November 2010, November 2015, November 2016, November 2017, November 2018 and November 2019.
Regulations
The
RANZCOG Regulations (PDF) guide the conduct and management of the College. These Regulations should be read in conjunction with all relevant College policies and guidelines as from time to time approved by the RANZCOG Board. To the extent that there is any inconsistency, the Regulations shall prevail.
The RANZCOG Board may amend the Regulations from time to time to change, alter, add or remove any provisions. Any amendments will apply with effect from the date of the Board meeting at which they are approved (unless otherwise stated).
