As Chair of the RANZCOG Women’s Health Foundation, I thank you sincerely for your support and commitment to excellence in Women’s Health. 

The RANZCOG Women’s Health Foundation supports the philanthropic initiatives of RANZCOG in the areas of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander and Māori Women’s Health, Global Women’s Health, including the development of medical, midwifery and research skills in the reproductive health workforce in the Pacific, and Women’s Health research, by raising and managing funds and providing grants that support RANZCOG’s vision of Excellence in Women’s Health

This newsletter is the first edition of Foundation News which aims to provide ongoing updates on RANZCOG’s philanthropic activities and achievements; achievements made possible through your support and generosity.

This edition features the achievements of FRANZCOG trainee Dr Maya Reddy, recipient of the Fotheringham Research Scholarship and the Beresford Buttery Travel Grant, as well as updates on RANZCOG’s Global Health (Pacific) and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Women’s Health initiatives.

RANZCOG urges all practitioners to heed the advice issued by RANZCOG and ATAGI which recommends that pregnant women are routinely offered Pfizer or Moderna mRNA vaccine at any stage of pregnancy.
