Rescheduling of RANZCOG 2020 Annual Scientific Meeting

03 April 2020

The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RANZCOG) has rescheduled the RANZCOG 2020 Annual Scientific Meeting (ASM). This includes all associated workshops to have been held before and after the ASM.
The ASM was originally scheduled to take place from 13-16 September 2020. The new dates for the ASM are 13-17 February 2021. Hobart remains the location for the ASM.
The decision to reschedule the event was made by the RANZCOG Board in consultation with the Local Organising Committee. The extraordinary circumstances created by COVID-19, limitations on travel, both within Australia, New Zealand and overseas, and the potential impact on the medical workforce in Australia and New Zealand, allowed for no other option.
In arriving at this decision, the Board considered, primarily, the health, safety and wellbeing of our members, trainees, staff, attendees, exhibitors and sponsors, suppliers, and the community.
We appreciate your understanding, and patience, at this time, and we look forward to welcoming you to Hobart in 2021. Further information, including FAQs, will be made available via the ASM website next week.
