RANZCOG is proud to celebrate World Contraception Day 2017

26 September 2017

RANZCOG is proud to celebrate World Contraception Day 2017. Every September 26 marks one more step toward a world where every pregnancy is wanted. Voluntary use of contraceptives allows women to decide if and when to have a child – and empowers them to raise healthier and more prosperous families.

Promotion of family planning – and ensuring access to preferred contraceptive methods for women and couples – is essential to securing the well-being and autonomy of women, while supporting the health and development of communities.

To mark the day, we have selected a number of articles from the O&G Magazine website that explore contraception. O&G Magazine reports on the latest topics in the practice of obstetrics and gynaecology and features articles from leading experts in the field.
