Organisational Values revealed

04 May 2020

RANZCOG is pleased to announce our Organisational Values, as voted by the College membership!

In February, RANZCOG’s Organisational Values Working Group (OVWG) asked all College members, trainees and staff to vote on a shortlist of ten values.

On Friday, May 1 the OVWG met virtually to discuss the results and approved the top five.

  • Advocacy
  • Education
  • Excellence
  • Integrity
  • Kindness
  • Respect

OVWG Chair Dr Jared Watts said: “Thank you to everyone who participated. We now have guiding organisational values that will strengthen the relationship between members, trainees and staff in our shared duty, vision and mission of RANZCOG.”

RANZCOG President Dr Vijay Roach said: “Stating our values signals the determination of the College to strive for excellence and provides a benchmark for all members and the organisation as a whole.”

Next steps

RANZCOG is your College and the OVWG is now asking all College members, trainees and staff to share their interpretations of the values. This will enable the OVWG to further define the values and develop collateral that disseminates the message to our membership and the wider community.

Your voice is important and we encourage you to contribute to the future of RANZCOG.
