National Framework for Gynaecological Cancer Control

14 March 2017

In April 2016, Cancer Australia released the National Framework for Gynaecological Cancer Control to encourage collaborative effort to reduce the impact of gynaecological cancer. Developed by Cancer Australia, and overseen by an expert gynaecological cancer advisory group, the National Framework was informed by national targeted consultations and evidence review. The National Framework identifies priority areas for action across the gynaecological cancer control continuum, including prevention, screening, diagnosis, treatment, follow-up, supportive and palliative care, and research.
