Focus on New Fathers

Focus on New Fathers is a pilot program focused on supporting new and expectant fathers via SMS. It provides valuable health advice and links into support pathways. It is being trialled in four Local Health Districts – Murrumbidgee, Northern NSW, Western Sydney and Northern Sydney. Dads outside these areas can register via the Tresillian website.

A webinar for health professionals will be held on Wednesday, March 3 (2.30pm-3pm AEDT).

Learning outcomes

Participants will:
  • understand ways to support fathers' wellbeing
  • understand paternal perinatal anxiety and depression and its impact on the family
