Endometriosis Awareness Week

28 February 2021

March 1-7 is Endometriosis Awareness Week. And March is Endometriosis month.

Find out more about RANZCOG's work below.

The RANZCOG Endometriosis eLearning Module provides comprehensive coverage of endometriosis symptoms, management, and the ‘whole-person’ patient care pathway. Complete it now via CLIMATE (RANZCOG username and password required or create an account).

In addition to the module for health professionals, RANZCOG has developed the Raising Awareness Tool for Endometriosis (RATE).
RATE is a quick-to-use electronic resource for primary care health professionals and their patients to help identify and assess endometriosis – and endometriosis-associated symptoms – to reach a faster diagnosis and achieve more effective management of symptoms.

The RATE was developed by a team of experts including gynaecologists, general practitioners, pain medicine specialists, fertility specialists, emergency physicians, and nurses, working with RANZCOG.

Learn more about RATE.

RANZCOG is also finalising Australia's first guideline for the diagnosis and treatment of endometriosis. The final guideline will be submitted to the Australian Government Department of Health this year.
