AMC and MCNZ extend RANZCOG’s accreditation

30 March 2020

The Australian Medical Council (AMC) and the Medical Council of New Zealand (MCNZ) have both extended the accreditation of the RANZCOG training and education programs and the continuing professional development programs in the specialty of obstetrics and gynaecology by four years to 31 March 2024.

This follows RANZCOG submitting a Comprehensive report for extension of accreditation to the AMC in September 2019.

In making its decision in November 2019, the AMC found the College and its programs meet the accreditation standards.
