RANZCOG members awarded honours on Australia Day

The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists would like to congratulate the following Members for being awarded honours on Australia Day 2019:
  • Professor Kate Moore, Officer in the General Division of the Order of Australia (AO) for her distinguished service to medicine and to medical research in the field of urogynaecology.
  • Dr Andrew Browning, Member in the General Division of the Order of Australia (AM) for his service to the international community through the provision of obstetric care to women in Africa.
  • Dr John Campbell, Dr Janet Duke, Professor Peter Dwyer, and Dr Sujon Purkayastha, Medals in the General Division of the Order of Australia (OAM) for their service to medicine as O&Gs.

Finally, we’d also like to congratulate ex-staff member Carmel Walker, for being awarded a Medal (OAM) in the General Division for her service to the international community of the Pacific Islands.
 
Our College recognises the valuable contributions each of our members have made to their communities and the wider global community and is proud to support and rally behind our membership.

The peak body for obstetrics and gynaecology and women’s health, RANZCOG, welcomes the tabling of the Reproductive Health Care Reform Bill 2019 in the NSW Parliament and urges all MPs to vote in favour.
