Improving Women’s Health in the Pacific

31 October 2017

Today at the RANZCOG 2017 ASM, President Professor Steve Robson and Dr Roy Watson, College representative for the Pacific Society for Reproductive Health (PSRH), launched the Improving Women’s Health in the Pacific document.

As our closest neighbours, the College has always had an active interest in women’s health in the Pacific Island Countries. The document acts as an advocacy tool to engage government and stakeholders, both in the Pacific and across Australia and New Zealand, in discussions to ensure best outcomes for women and their babies.

Protecting and promoting women’s health is vital to the development of Pacific Island Countries and this initiative highlights key steps required to effect meaningful change.
