About the awards

Obstetrics and gynaecology is a highly rewarding career which also entails many emotional and physical demands.

The RANZCOG Wellbeing Award is part of a range of initiatives aimed to support, acknowledge and encourage all members to champion health and wellbeing in O&G departments, hospitals and the wider medical profession. The Wellbeing Award was established in 2021, as part of the rollout of initiatives established by the RANZCOG Wellbeing Working Group. This annual award celebrates the actions and initiatives of individual RANZCOG members, as well as the actions and initiatives from groups that have resulted in improved support and wellbeing within the O&G profession.
