RANZCOG Women’s Health Award Program for participating University medical schools in Australia, New Zealand, Fiji and Papua New Guinea

One of the ways RANZCOG promotes the specialty of obstetrics and gynaecology amongst medical students is through the Women’s Health Award. Established in 2005, the $500 Award is offered on an annual basis to all medical schools in Australia, New Zealand, Fiji and Papua New Guinea in recognition of an outstanding obstetrics and gynaecology medical student.


How awarded: Awardees nominated by medical schools (not available for self-application)
Availability: 2 per year
Adjudication: University of Papua New Guinea (UPNG) School of Medicine and Health Sciences (SMHS) and Fiji National University (FNU) College of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences (CMNHS)
