Written Examination Information

Trainees enrolled in the Certificate of Women’s Health program (CWH) must complete the CWH Written Examination.

Trainees enrolled in the DRANZCOG or the DRANZCOG Advanced programs must complete the DRANZCOG Written Examination.

CWH trainees who have already sat and passed the CWH Written Examination and wish to upgrade to the DRANZCOG or DRANZCOG Advanced programs must complete the CWH Upgrade to DRANZCOG Written Examination.


Details regarding eligibility for the CWH and DRANZCOG Examinations can be found in the RANZCOG Regulations. Candidates are advised to familiarise themselves with all the regulations pertaining to examinations prior to submitting an examination application.

Candidates are required to sit all RANZCOG Examinations in an electronic format.  Any requests for examination accommodations must be made by application for Special Consideration accompanied by evidence of the exceptional grounds for the application.
